FAQ

About the
library.

What tutors and learners ask us about the resources, licensing, and how to find what they need.

What kinds of free resources are available for guitar teachers?

A growing library of printable PDFs and SVGs: blank tablature paper, fretboard maps, scale charts, chord cheat sheets, lesson planners, practice logs, and progress trackers. Backing tracks are coming next. Everything is sorted by category and difficulty, and the search box filters by title, description, or tag.

Can I use these resources in paid lessons or my own teaching materials?

Yes — all resources are free for personal practice, classroom use, online courses, and inclusion in lesson handouts. No attribution required, no licence fees. The only thing we ask is that you don't resell the files as-is (e.g. listing the blank tab paper on a stock-asset marketplace).

What formats are supported?

Every printable resource ships as both PDF (the primary download, for anyone who just wants to print) and SVG (vector — prints crisply at any size and stays editable in Figma, Inkscape, Affinity Designer or Illustrator if you want to add your studio's logo). Backing tracks will land as MP3 or WAV. Each card shows the format and file size so you know what you're downloading.

How do I find resources for a specific level or topic?

Use the category filter (Tablature, Fretboard, Scales, Chord Charts, Theory, Worksheets and more as they ship) plus the difficulty filter (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, All). The search box also filters in real time across titles, descriptions and tags — type "blues", "open chords" or "fingerpicking" and the list narrows.

How often are new resources added?

New resources land roughly every other week. Featured and recently-added items appear at the top. Sign up to the newsletter (footer of any page) for an occasional dispatch when new resources go live — opt-in only, no spam, no third-party sharing.

Can I request a specific resource?

Yes. If there's a worksheet, scale chart, lesson template, or backing track you find yourself reaching for week after week, email [email protected] with the request. We prioritise based on what working tutors actually ask for. (Note: we don't currently transcribe copyrighted songs — but original-composition transcriptions and public-domain pieces are fair game.)
Missing something?

Request a resource.

The library grows based on what working tutors actually ask for. A scale chart you keep wishing existed? A specific transcription? Tell us and we'll add it to the queue.

The pieces behind the worksheets.

Each template was built to solve a specific teaching problem. These pieces unpack the problem and how working tutors solve it day to day.
